The (Dare)Devil's In The Details

A few months back, we were given the opportunity to witness and document some borderline witchcraft, as part of Disney’s promotion for their latest Marvel offering - Daredevil: Born Again.

The incredibly talented Greek mural artist Insane 51 creates stunning work using a technique called “Double Exposure 3D” - adding two images in both red & cyan and overlapping them to create a three-dimensional illusionary effect. The effect is revealed through digital colour filters or 3-D glasses, even the kind you used to find in a cereal box back in the day (note - Callum showing his age).

Shot over a week at Manchester’s Corn Exchange, we were at the mercy of both the weather and the creative process in such a complex and precise undertaking but you can check out the final video below to see the reveal of the final design - pretty impressive we think you’ll agree!
